An internal knowledge assistant
A demonstration using fictional data to explain knowledge retrieval and permission boundaries.
The fictional scenario
A company keeps operating guides and policies across separate files. Employees need answers with sources, while leadership documents remain restricted. This demonstrates an implementation approach; it is not a client project or a commercial performance claim.
The proposed interaction
The system identifies the knowledge the current user may access, retrieves relevant passages and produces a supported answer with review dates. When evidence is insufficient, it explains the gap and suggests a responsible person or a more specific question.
The evaluation
Test Arabic and English questions, conflicting policies, retired documents and requests outside the user’s permissions. Assess whether the source is appropriate and whether the answer is supported. Review the cases in which the assistant should decline to answer.
